PrideInn Hotels, Resorts and Camps Managing Director, Hasnain Noorani, has been recognized among the 50 most influential CEOs in Kenya by Africapitol Ventures.
Africapitol Ventures stated they selected Mr. Hasnain Noorani due to his significant impact and influence within the hospitality sector and the broader tourism industry.
Mr. Noorani’s recognition places him alongside other notable leaders such as Optiven Group CEO George Wachiuri, Chandaria Industries CEO Darshan Chandaria, and Avenue Hospitals CEO Imran Osman, among others.
In response to receiving the recognition, Mr. Noorani expressed his gratitude by dedicating the award to his family and the employees of PrideInn.

Background of Mr. Noorani
In 2006, Mr. Noorani assumed leadership of his father’s business empire following his graduation from the University of Nottingham with first-class honors in manufacturing, engineering, and management. Influenced by his global travels, he identified a gap in Kenya’s 3/4 Star Hotel Chain sector and embarked on a mission to provide “five-star services at 3-star value.”
The first PrideInn Hotel, a 28-room establishment in Nairobi, opened its doors in 2011. Over the next 12 years, PrideInn expanded to include 7 more hotels, resorts, and a camp, including the company’s flagship PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort and Spa.
Apart from PrideInn, Mr. Noorani serves as the Group Managing Director of Pride Group, the company that also owns Cake City Kenya, PrideDRIVE, Westlands Banquet Centre, Glory Safaris, Brickwood Apartments, Muthaiga Business Centre, Rex Plaza Kisumu, and airduka.com.
When asked about the key to his success, Mr. Noorani attributes it to delegation and empowering his teams, as well as maintaining a focus on “Exceptional Products & Services at an Outstanding Value,” while nurturing a culture of staff satisfaction.
